Jake Verano

Jake started boxing at a young age of 6 where he would participate in open sparring sessions at the local Sunday markets around Valencia City in Bukidnon, Philippines. His journey then continued to amateur level, training in boxing camps for most of his teenage years, which then found him competing on a professional level for 8 years and winning the title: Super Batamweight Champion in 2007 by the Philippines Games and Amusement Board.

After retiring as a professional boxer, he focused his time on coaching. With over 22 years of coaching experience, he has built sports programs for the local government unit in Bukidnon, Philippines, Games and Amusement Board (GAB) coach, and also worked in Japan and Hong Kong.
